Who draws the crowd, who plays so loud baby, it’s the guitar man.

drawings the obese

Stopped by my old drawing class last night to draw my favorite model. Popped out a few good ones in the moleskine. I want to mention how much I love classic pen and ink. I am thinking I may sell these as small prints in the future.

here are a few:

Drawings from Friday

Like I promised, here are a few drawings from Friday night. There are a bunch more but I would like to finish them first.

The last two were drawn on these wedding album inserts that have letters and shapes embossed on each card. I had fun with these.

Il Treno

train-sketch2.jpg

So Monday through Friday I take the Long Island Rail Road. 3 out of those 5 days there is a delay. So a good majority of my life is spent on a train squashed inbetween 2 obese people breathing in their gas and coughs. It’s even worse when the air gets shut off!!

If it wasn’t for my sketchbook and ipod…I probably would’nt have lasted this long.  Sketching strangers alseep on the train has become a habit for me. It’s also quite amusing to see how the human face can change form over time in REM sleep, and they begin to snore, drool, and slump onto the person next to them.
